The Brief: The Lewis Home was a 2,400 square foot Scottsdale residence with good bones and dated everything else. The brief was straightforward: bring the whole house current, keep its character, build it to last another twenty years.
The Approach: We took the home down to its bones, then rebuilt it with a focus on flow, light, and material. The kitchen was opened up and reworked around a generous island. The primary suite was reimagined as a quiet retreat. Materials throughout the home were chosen for longevity — tile and stone from Bedrosians, custom cabinetry from GC Cabinetry, and finish details that will read as right ten years from now.
The Result: The finished home reads as a home that was always meant to look this way. Materials age into the architecture rather than out of it. Light moves through the space the way it should. The kind of remodel that does not announce itself — it just feels right.
